Friedrich Köhler is a cardiologist and Head of the Centre for Cardiovascular Telemedicine at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, a joint institution of the Freie Universität Berlin and the Humboldt-Universität in Berlin. He coordinated transfer of telemedicine know-how between Germany and Baltic States and led several research projects that aimed to develop and test new telemonitoring systems. Since 2011, he is a Professor for Cardiovascular Telemedicine at Charité. At Prague International Health Summit 2016, Friedrich talked about all aspects of remote monitoring in heart failure patients – its structure, processes, staff, technology or outcomes.
