Jeroen Struijs is senior researcher at the Department of Quality of Care and Health Economics at Dutch National Institute of Public Health and the Environment (RIVM). Prior to his work in health services research, Jeroen was a practicing physiotherapist. His research covers a broad range of topics surrounding payment reform and innovations in the organization of health care systems, particularly in primary care. The topic of Jeroen’s presentation at Prague International Health Summit 2016 was related to his recent work in which he has looked at the effects of bundled payments – newly introduced into the Dutch health care system – on health care delivery process, quality of care, and health care expenditures.
