Armin Fidler is President of the European Health Management Association (EHMA) and senior Lecturer at MCI Management Center Innsbruck. He has extensive experience in managerial and advisory positions where he focuses among others on project management in the field of public finance in health and health care reforms. Over the last 20 years, he held leading positions in the World Bank and he was a consultant to the World Health Organization. To this day, he is an advisor to the Federal Ministry of Health in Austria where he is working on the concepts of health reforms. In addition, he gives lectures at several universities in Europe and US. His presentation at Prague International Health Summit 2016 will present economic impact of chronic diseases and their management in global perspective.
