Tomáš Macháček is an expert on health insurance and managed care. For a long time, he has been engaged in improving organization of Czech health care system. He is involved in HealthReform.cz and co-authored health reform presented by Minister Tomáš Jullínek. He is a Partner at Advance Healthcare Management Institute where he gives lectures in an executive program for healthcare leaders Master in Healthcare Administration. Furthermore, he is a CEO at KlientPRO, a company which administrates intergrated systems of care based on capitation contract, and still practices as a GP. Tomáš organized previous years of Prague International Health Summit. The topic of his presentation at 8th Prague IHS was closely connected to his experience with introduction of managed-care contracts between group of physicians and health insurers - the presentation focused on changes in relationships between providers and payers.
