Pavel Hroboň graduated from Medicine at Charles University in Prague and Health Policy and Management at Harvard University. He had a chance to observe and influence health care from several positions – as a practicing physician, consultant in McKinsey & Company, Director of Strategy at Czech health insurance fund (VZP), and a top government officer – Deputy Minister of Health. In 2009, Pavel co-founded Advance Healthcare Management Institute and created a successful executive program Master of Healthcare Administration in Prague. Pavel was the main organizer of Prague International Health Summit 2016 and at the conference, he spoke about barriers of creation of innovation-friendly environment in highly-regulated healthcare systems in Central and Eastern Europe.
