Jozef Gavlas is a Director of Laboratory Division at Medirex Group. Jozef graduated at Faculty of Chemical and Food Technology at Slovakian Technical University in Bratislava. He also graduated from Health Management Academy at Semmelweis University in Budapest. After graduation, he started working as a laboratory technician in Tento a.s. in Žilina. Later Jozef became production manager in the company. He spent a year as a technician in EMC2 Ovens in Ireland. Since December 2005, Jozef has worked in Medirex Service – he started as a facility manager, later became manager for purchasing, logistics, and large-scale distribution for all companies united in Medirex Group. Currently he is leading the biggest laboratory network in Slovakia as Director of Laboratory Division. At Prague International Health Summit 2018, Jozef will describe provision of laboratory services to hospitals in Slovakia and Germany.
