Having graduated from the Charles University of Prague and the University of Cambridge, Eva has been working in various public health settings in the UK for the past 16 years. Her main interests are evidence-based practice, health intelligence, strategy and policy. In her current post as Deputy Director of Public Health for Westminster, Eva is responsible for the planning, design and procurement of public health services related to obesity, mental health, physical activity, children and young people and the development of health and wellbeing policies. At Prague International Health Summit, Eva presented a whole system obesity program that she leads. It is a highly innovative and unique program – in recognition of this, the program team has been recently awarded membership of the EPODE (Ensemble Prévenons l'Obésité Des Enfants) EU network.
